A lot of younger women with cancer are thrown suddenly into menopause by their treatments. When menopause is sudden, very often the symptoms are severe. Some cancer drugs can also cause the return of menopausal symptoms like hot flashes for older, post-menopausal women, and even for men.
Regular exercise can help to ease some menopausal symptoms. It can boost your mood, improve fuzzy thinking, and help you sleep better. But most importantly, regular exercise can help to ease hot flashes. It probably won’t make the flashes stop, but exercise may make them a little bit better.
